15 July 2017 If you are making advance payment to vendor, you need not to issue any document. He will issue a payment voucher to you.

But vendor will issue invoice before payment as per po term.
vendor will issue proforma invoice or tax invoice.

15 July 2017 Proforma invoices is not accountability so its not effected to your ITC. Tax Invoice is after completion of supplies

15 July 2017 Thanks sir but my query is vendor have issue proforma invoice before payment.
Any document required against advance payment.
In vat regime vendor have issue proforma invoice for advance payment.
after supply material will issue tax invoice.

The Proforma invoices is your convenient purpose. So, You can maintain its your own purpose
