Address of Company and Auditor

25 November 2010 Dear Experts,

Can a company have its office registered address as well the auditor who has been appointed are located in the very same premises? Is this appointment valid as per the Companies Act? Please advice

Agreed with the expert! Disqualification of the Auditors has been prescribed under section 226(3) of the Companies Act, 1956. Address of the Auditor of the Company has no relation with his appointment and his appointment is very well valid under the Companies Act, 1956.
