Additional Place of Business in GST

12 June 2020 Hi Sir,
If A company wants to add an additional place of business i.e. Rented Office OR Rented Godown in the GST RC.
Then What should be the Stamp paper value for the Rent Agreement
100 Rs Stamp Paper
200 Rs Stamp Paper
1000 Rs Stamp paper
Please help. Thank You.

13 June 2020 For the execution of Rent Agreement, a stamp paper of value Rs.100/- is sufficient.

14 June 2020 sometimes, objection is raised while making application of GST. i.e. rent agreement is not on appropriate stamp paper. see your state's stamp act to agreements

17 June 2020 Rs.100/- stamp value is good enough to execute the agreement, it shall be a Non-Judicial Stamp paper of requisite value and duly drafted and notarised.
Such objection as stated by you might be due to any other reason as well, so please check accordingly.
To be extra cautious, you may use Rs.200/- stamp paper that should suffice your purpose.
