We have imported some capital goods. I would like to know whether additional duty(4%) paid, 100% credit available in same financial year or 50%.

IN RESPECT OF CAPITAL GOODS ONLY 50% OF CENVAT SHALL BE ALLOWABLE IN YEAR OF PURCHASE
25 August 2008
and 25% in the next year and another 25% in the year next to the next year
