Dear Friends / Experts,
Please guide me on the following, IF POSSIBLE:
Additional Director ‘X’ has to be appointed in a Private Limited Company, where his mother and father are the two directors.
Query
In Form DIR-12, which Category i.e. Promoter / Professional is appropriate for this Additional Director, who is not going to hold Shares in the Company.

'Professional' will be suitable.

Section 2(69)(b) satisfies, hence 'Promoter' seems to be the right choice.
