Who the actual manufacturer in the case of Brand product, that means seller(job worker) produce the goods on agreement with buyer(brand Company). Please Explain this query.

Regarding jobwork undertaken for branded products, the jobworker has to pay the duty and he will be treated as original manufacturer. Even he cannot claim the SSI exemption of 1.5 crores if he does the work for branded products.
