what is the meaning of "Act no." written with name of act like in:-
Companies Act 2013(Act no. 18 of 2013)
what does this mean ?

Here Act no. means revision no.

Act is revised yearly so every new year addition will have new Act no.

16 October 2013 I would like to disagree here.

First, companies Act has been amended no less than 24 times since its first enactment. Refer http://www.mca.gov.in/Ministry/chapter1.html

Second, the Act 18 of 2013 means that this act is the 18th Act to be enacted in the years 2013.
