28 January 2011 I HAVE RECEIVED A MAIL FROM INCOME TAX THAT THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED ITR V. BUT THEY HAVE JUST PROVIDED US WITH THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT NUMBER. PLS TELL US HOW CAN WE TRACE THE PERSON WHOSE ITR V HAS NOT BEEN RECEIVED BY THEM ?

28 January 2011 yes, they only provide the acknowledgement number for non-receipt of ITR V in e-mail, we should maintain proper records of e-returns filed, so that we can easily find the person, if not maintained we will have to search all files,,
