ACKNOWLEDGEMENT NOT RECEIVED FROM CPC

22 July 2011 Dear Expeter,

One of the my friend who file his return for A.Y- 2010-11. ON 30th march-2011 electronically and send his ITR-V after signature to CPC Bangaluru twice by ordinary post and speed post but still he has not received any acknowledgement from CPC- BANGLURU, AND now the days of 120 available for sending ITR-V is almost comes to end. sugges me what he will do again, and is their any legal action against him taken by dept if he not send any more ITR-V after the end of 120 days.

22 July 2011 Acknowledgement always come by email only. please check the mail id which you mentioned in return (Check spam mails also). or you login to income tax website and check your status of return for the year ay 2010-11. you can get acknowledgement there also

22 July 2011 In many cases the Department is not sending the receipt by e mail. So you should GO to www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in. Log into your account. Go to MY ACCOUNT. In that drop down menu select CPC PROCESSING STATUS. Select the relevant A.Y. Their it will show the status of the Receipt whether it has been received or not.

23 July 2011 Dear Sir,
I Check my email id as well as incometaxindiaefiling site as per ur given way, but it show that "ITR-V not received or return not filed by u". what next to do? please recommend me.
