i have heard that d answer written should be fully correct n there is no marks for steps.
i mean if your starting 80% of the answer is correct and then if you make a mistake you wont get a single mark!!?!!
is it so?

Marks are given for steps. Even if the final answer is incorrect, marks are awarded for steps.
