Accounting technician course

This is regarding Accounting Technician Course offered by ICAI.

If a person is in employment and wants to complete this course after passing CPT, is it compulsory for him to leave the employment to complete the one year articleship as required in this course. If the current employer company has one CA in team, can this CA enrol this person under him as article with continue employment.

Please advise.

14 July 2012 U can pursue ur Articleship only under Practicing CA, corporate training is not allowed as per the ICAI guidelines.
If the CA in ur Company is in practice,n working on the fees paid by d company to him then u can undergo training under him.
