Regarding the US Accounting standard and Indian Accounting standard : There are differences and its not possible to discuss the same here.
U can refer the book provided Mr.M.P.Vijaykumar, Snowwhite Publication.
There he has expalined regarding the difference between Indian Accounting Standards and US GAAP.
