21 July 2007 The Accounting Code for services in relation to renting of immovable property is:- 00440406

Source: Letter No. Coord/13-6/2003-04/Vol. IV/350 dt. 29-5-2007 of the Pr. Chief Controller of Accounts, Central Board of Excise and Customs, New Delhi.

I fail to understand, why should the Accounting Codes be intimated through internal communucations, in place of issuing notifications or circulars. The Commissionarates should also have promptly issued Trade Notices.
