Recently I have got new job and got the SR.ACCOUNTANT POSITION in new company. But in my previous job i have done All accounts payable works only...so suggest me how should get prepare for this position and what topics or subject should i should aware of it? which law? principle? etc....

Thanks lot for your guidance...i will definitely try follow all the things you have mentioned in articles to develop my career as an accountant.
Just let me known what are the general accounting polices should be follow by company whose status is in foundation stage.
We details in various activity like retailing of fish, dry warehouse facility,cold storage,etc
