Acceptance as first auditor

A audit firm was appointed as its first auditor for the financial year 31.03.2014,but the offer letter was received by the firm very lately. so please suggest whether the companies Act 2013 will be applicable or not ? If yes please suggest the process of intimating the acceptance to roc and through which form as per new companies act

Company may file e-form GNL-2 with form ADT-1 and board resolution as attachment.
PS:- The system will generate normal filing fee only. Therefore, company may be advised to pay 'additional filing fee' through 'pay miscellaneous option' and attach GAR-7 as an optional attachment to GNL-2 to avoid resubmission of the said form.

What are the duities and Procedures to be followed by auditor in above said case,if at all the auditor is intended to accept the audit?
