A professional with industry experience is weighing an offer from a consulting firm (NEXDIGM) for a significantly higher salary. They are concerned about the potential difficulty of returning to industry with a comparable pay scale after working in consulting. The advice suggests consulting offers good growth but requires significant courage and knowledge, and while returning to industry is possible, the pay might not match consulting levels. The individual expresses a preference for industry due to lower work pressure, questioning if industry roles can offer such salary hikes.

Acceptable, if you have inclination towards consultation side with inside courage. Good growth potential. Reversal is not difficult, but pay scale will be difficult.

It means Pay scale in both the branches are not same. You may not get any lucrative offer in industry which you can get in consultation wing.

Better think twice for the workload in consultation wing and pressure to handle each case separately. It requires thorough knowledge, courage, constant reference to the topic/s etc. It is not as easy as industrial job work, where once set, no more innovation! Depends upon your courage to handle the change...
