27 February 2011 an indivisual getting age of 60 on 15th december 2010 now in ass. year 2011-12 in which slab he will fall ?

i mean shud i file his return as senior citizen or not ?
cnfused....plz help...

28 February 2011 NO. ASper IT ACt senior citizen must have completed 65 years for availing te benefit/.

28 February 2011 Senior citizen must have completed the age of 65 during the financial year. If a person attains age of 65 during the FY 2011-2012 then only you can file return as senior citizen in the AY 2012-13

28 February 2011 query is for 65 i mistakenly post 60 but i think todays budget is accepting my mistake by decreasing age limit to 60 fr sr. citizens
