about the articleship

18 April 2009 I am started my articleship as on 23rd january 2007. on 13th jualy 2008 i had take transfer & join another firm. old employer give me 75 excess leaves. in new firm i am not taking any leave up to 18th april 2009 plz help me about is my articleship still complete on 23rd january 2010 or it extent by 75 days

18 April 2009 A article is allowed 1/6th of period served as leave(Apart from national holidays).since you are in PCC, total article period is 42 months , so u will be allowed 7 month leave you you takes leave in excess of this period(while in entire period of practice),You have to do articleship for the excess period.

So take my advice sinc eyou have also taken leave for 75 days out of 6 months i.e. 210days (7 *30 days), You should not take leave more then 135 days (210- 75 days).
