about tds return & income tax return contraversy

one of the our cliant is pvt.ltd., company, their directors are taken remunaration and deducted tds amount and paid the tds amount may month,by mistake one of the accountant deleted last year remunaration entry and filing the income tax return.so their is contravery between tds report and income tax return.so advise me we are revised income tax return or tds return

17 October 2008 Dear Vijay Kumar,

For the entry that has been deleted please re-file your income tax return as there would be a notice issued in due course of time from the Income Tax Dept .If this is for A.Y. 2008-09 then there is time as the IT Dept starts scrutiny for all the assesses only next april. If it for A.Y. 2007-08 the scrutiny has already began.So my advice would be that you file your REVISED INCOME TAX RETURN.
