About shares in ITR

This query is : Resolved

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies how to declare shares in your Income Tax Return (ITR). It's confirmed that only active shares should be considered when reporting amounts in ITR-2 and Schedule CG, especially when matching figures with AIS and TIS. Unlisted shares are generally declared in Schedule General, while Schedule CG focuses on shares sold during the financial year.

20 July 2024 Dear sir/mam...Total amount of active and inactive shares should be taken in ITR-2 or only active shares amount should be taken???
Please anyone answer me
