Demat means retaining shares and related info in electronic form instead in physical info.
senex is an index refelecting collective shares value of the best 500 companies dealing everyday on it.
hedge is when u want to secure like yourself from risk of loss when u deal in foriegn exchange.
arbitrage is taking advantage of diff in forex rate in 2 diff areas.
speculation is pure gambling in forex market.

DEMAT account helps you to hold the shares in Electronic Format. To open a DEMAT account.
To start dealing in securities in electronic form, one needs to open a demat account with a DP of his choice.
An investor already having shares in physical form should ensure that he gets the account opened in the same set of names as appearing on the share certificate; otherwise a new account can be opened in any desired pattern by the investor.
An abbreviation of the Bombay Exchange Sensitive Index (Sensex) - the benchmark index of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE)
It is composed of 30 of the largest and most actively-traded stocks on the BSE.
An index is basically an indicator. It gives you a general idea about whether most of the stocks have gone up or most of the stocks have gone down.
Just like the Sensex represents the top stocks of the BSE, the Nifty represents the top stocks of the NSE.
NIFTY.....derived its name from the National Stock Exchange(NSE)and FIFTY. Just because NSE uses 50 major stock across all major sectors to constitute an Index called NIFTY. The major difference between two indices that the later uses 50 stocks as compared to 30 stocks used for Sensex.
