29 May 2013 With CA i will advise you to do CS as it will make you more versatile. Your area of expertise will widen. So you can opt for CS.

30 May 2013 Scope is very good. As per new Companies Bill 2012 Company Secretary is a Key managerial Personnel. It encompasses not only Commercial Law, Legal and secretarial matter but also Finance, Accounts and Taxation. A Company Secretary deals with the top management of the company. In the present global scenario a Company Secretary has a big role to play in implementation of better corporate governance practices.

So prospects are very good but so is the competition.
