Please Can you tell me that When We manufactured 100 Pcs any Excicable Item after that we sale 50 Pcs to Party and I will pay Excise Duty on 50 Pcs but after some time Party 25 Pcs Return Back so Can I adjusted CENVAT CREDIT or / Not. Please Tell me .

05 July 2010 excise duty paid on the 25 pcs is refunded alongwith the sale value of the goods.hence the amount is reversed to cenvat credit.

31 July 2010 You have to take cenvat credit against Goods return from customers, as Input. for 25 pcs.
Second point is that, whenever goods returned from customers, you should inform to Excise Dept within 24 hrs. in prescribed form.
