how can dominos or McD can charge service tax on whole amount ?
why dont they calculate it on 40% amnt as per service tax rules ?

either do 40% of gross 1st and then charge 12.36% of that or
charge directly 4.944% of gross directly
12.36% of 40% is actually same what 4.944% of gross value is.
SO Its simple maths dear, they charging it correctly.
