Aadhar no. in income tax return

23 June 2015 Is it compulsory to provide AADHAR NO. for filing income tax return ?
If I am having the AADHAR No. , but I do not want to give it in my return, then can I keep that box blank?

Will doing so, be considered as my fault/offence?
