aadhaar-pan linking effect on ration card

15 July 2017 Dear sir, one of our client already registered tax payer nd paid tax in the AY 2011-12. Now he wants to file return for this year . In the e-filing portal it is not showing any e-returns. He is also having white ration card. Is there any problem for his ration card if we file the return for this AY 2017-18 by linking PAN with Aadhaar??

15 July 2017 No more effects on anything, anywhere. You can file online. If he is filed his return manually on AY 11-12

15 July 2017 I heard some roumers so I asked to clarify the impacts of linking PAN with Aadhaar that he is registered previously and even if we file the return or not it is mandatory to link Aadhaar with pan

16 July 2017 Yes. You ll be link AADHAAR with PAN. Then allow e-filling portal for Returns. So, You go to link your/yours AADHAAR and PAN then you ll file the Returns.... Good Luck....
