31 March 2015 There one client whose sister is suffering from one Kidney Failure & 2nd Kidney also infected and dependent on him, so it is normal disability or severe? Please suggest best option.

31 March 2015 The above case is covered in section 80DDB and amount of deduction would be limited to Rs.40000/-(Rs. 60000/- if patient is above the age of 60 years) irrespective of the fact that it is a several disability or not

31 March 2015 and also the client has expended more than Rs. 80000.00 but he has no bills for the same. then can he take deduction of Rs. 40000.00 under Sec. 80DDB?

31 March 2015 no such deduction shall be allowed unless the assessee furnishes with the return of income, a certificate in such form, as may be prescribed from a urologist
