Good Evening Sir I Bhavesh Chimanlal Mehta At Palanpur Tax Consultant My Query Is 80 G Certificate On Lifetime on Registration 31/03/2010 No Renew Certificate it is govertment desion if this matter is true please send me notification Or Circuler on life time 80 g Cirtificate

17 June 2010 There was a proviso to clause (vi) of sub section (5) to section 80G which read as follows:-
"Provided that any approval shall have effect for such assessment years not exceeding five assessment years as may be specified in the approval".
But Finance (No.2) Act,2009 had omitted the proviso with effect from October 1,2009 meaning thereby that if the approval is vaild as on that date, no need to file renewal application if the registration is not cancelled by the Commissioner.
No circular/notification is published by CBDT in this matter.

17 June 2010 yes, no circular is available but in the 80G registration certificate it is applicable wef A/Y....,will be mentioned but there is no closing date.
