I have a query regarding tds..whether section 43b covers TDS or not..??

Yes...... But i think that there is some confusion in this questions...

in some of the clarification i have read that in 43b only indirect taxes are allowed. and tds is not an indirect tax.

No...... The word used in Sec is only tax or duty not indirect tax...

Ma'am, sec 40 (a) (ii) and 40(a) (ii) expressively disallow income tax and wealth tax , so why 43b will cover income tax..??
