43 is applicable on tds or not..??

15 October 2017 I have a query regarding tds..whether section 43b covers TDS or not..??

15 October 2017 Yes...... But i think that there is some confusion in this questions...

15 October 2017 in some of the clarification i have read that in 43b only indirect taxes are allowed. and tds is not an indirect tax.

15 October 2017 No...... The word used in Sec is only tax or duty not indirect tax...

15 October 2017 Ma'am, sec 40 (a) (ii) and 40(a) (ii) expressively disallow income tax and wealth tax , so why 43b will cover income tax..??
