3B rectification and Payment of liability

17 May 2018 Dear Experts
while filing 3B for the month feb18, i missed out one sales invoice. various post are saying that add your missing details in upcoming 3B that is for now April 18 as i have already filed both Feb n march. can i add feb sales in april 3b and pay off the liability ? what will be the position at tym of GSTR 3 as it will again ask me to pay tax for the month of Feb ? should i wait for GSTR 3 ? Plz guide

17 May 2018 Please do not wait for GSTR 3 to come. Kindly include it in Apr month return and pay your liability and also update the same in GSTR 1 of April month. If you are not paying then you will end up paying a huge amount toward interest.

17 May 2018 Hi thanks for reply. I have included sales in GSTR 1 of Jan to March. so shall i include in APRIL 3B ? will it create a mismatch for GSTR 3 ?

18 May 2018 If you had already included the sales in GSTR 1 of JAN-MAR, then just include your liability in GSTR 3b and pay it. Otherwise Department will charge you interest till you are not reporting it and pay.
