how to get income tax practitioner certificate....

what qualifications are required for this?

what is use of this certificate....

can a person who have CA Inter and B.com practice as income tax consultant or not?

11 August 2011 Yes, he can practice as an income tax consultant on the basis of the degree of B Com. from any Indian University incorporated by any law -as per rule 51.
In Form No 39 an application has to be submitted to the jurisdictional CCIT and the same should be accompanied by documents as evidence of eligibility.
You mar Refer Rule 54 for the purpose.
