Please tell whether Income tax Department has stopped the facility to view 26AS online directly from incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in website?
Whether we have to compulsorily register in TRACES website to see 26AS online?

YOU CAN SEE FROM ANY BANK A/C IN WHICH YOU GIVE PAN TO BANK
YOU CAN SEE 26AS ON NET BANKING AFTER LOGIN IN YOUR A/C

Three ways available to view form 26AS
https://incometaxindia.gov.in/26ASTaxCreditStatement.asp
And you can view 26AS from registering in traces or from banking site
there is a problem in viewing 26AS from incometaxindiaefiling today an error message was showing that "You are not authorised to view 26AS"
but an option available that register for 26as
So as per this we can say IT departemnet has with drawn this facility so we have only two ways out of 3 ways as in above link
so we need to register our PAN with traces for first time to view 26AS - as of my opinion.
YESTERDAY ALSO I HAVE SEEN FORM 26 AS THROUGH INCOME TAX INDIA E-FILING WEBSITE.

As per conversation with the CPC online and Income Tax Department, the facility of viewing tax credit through www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in has again started as problems pursued by all tax payers & tax professionals through all over India for E filing purposes.
So this is a Good News for all of us

You can still access Form 26AS from www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in under the My Account Section. Once you click on Form 26AS it will redirect you to the TRACES site.
