Can anyone please explain what is the difference between date of booking and transaction date in form 26AS?

Transaction Date: It is the date, earlier of payment or credit, as required to be mentioned in the e-tds return
by the assessee.
Date of Booking: After filing e-tds return , this shows the date on which verification process has been initiated by the department.
