08 July 2013 Is it possible to e-file TDS return of Q3 of F.Y. 12-13 now without payment of fees chargeable u/s 234e?
Can we pay the fees after getting notice?

08 July 2013 If you are filing return without late fee, you will be subsequently charged the fee.

08 July 2013 Thanks paras sir for your valuable reply but at the time of generating FVU file my software generate errors relating to payment of fee and would not validate

You have to check whether the utility being used by is the latest. It has recently (in the last week ...3.7) been upgraded.

08 July 2013 Recently we have filed a TDS return without paying the late fee by using the latest version, no such problem related with the late fee has arisen.
.
If your software validates only after inserting the late fee challan details, than it is wise to add late fee for the number of days in which the challan file is validated. It means 400 or 600 more late fee is required to be paid then the actual delay. Will the things will go in this manner only ?....
