19 January 2012 RENT IS CHAREDED 42,408/- P.M. INCLUDING RENT & WARAI (THAT CHARGED BY UNION OF GHATI AT bHIWANDI) FROM JAN 2012 TO nOV 2012.

iS TDS IS REQUIRE TO DEDUCT FOR THE f.y.2011-12?
if yes ,is on rent part only?
or
it will including warai charges?

19 January 2012 THE AMOUNT OF RENT PAID IS BELOW 180000/ HENCE TDS IS NOT REQUIRED TO BE DEDUCTED FOR THE FY 2011-12.(JAN 12 TO MARCH12.)

HOWEVER FOR AY 2013-14 , I.E.FY 2012-13 YOU HAVE TO DEDUCT TDS ON THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID FROM APRIL 12 ONWARDS.

IF YOU CAN PROOVE THAT WARAI CHARGES IS SEPARATE FROM RENT, AND IT IS NOT PAID TO THE LAND LORD, OR IT IS PAID SEPARATELY TO THE UNION THEN ONLY TDS WILL NOT BE DEDUCTED ON SUCH CHARGES.

19 January 2012 TDS will be deducted on warai charges also whenever provisions are applicable for deducting TDS.
