143(1) intimation to pay tax

I got a intimation 143(1) today showing the need to pay tax. There is no chalan attached to the letter.
Could you please how to pay this tax.
I am a salarised employee

01 March 2010 1. Either go to income-tax department who issued you the notice and ask them to issue a challan.

2. Contact any nearest CA office and request them to give a copy of tax challan.

3. Online payment of tax challan is possible. Visit incometaxindia.gov.in site.

4. You can ask your employer to arrange a challan from his CA.
