15 April 2025 I get the following error while processing the defaults :

T_FV_6364 Value to be provided is Mandatory from Financial year 202425.

Field Name is as under :

Amount reported as per section 192(2B), of other tax deducted at source or tax collected at source, other than (388)

12 August 2025 This error T_FV_6364 - "Value to be provided is Mandatory from Financial Year 2024-25" for the field related to Section 192(2B) in Form 24Q (Q4 FY 2024-25) means:

What is Section 192(2B)?
Section 192(2B) relates to TDS on Salary on payment of accumulated balance of recognized provident fund after retirement or resignation.

Reason for Error:
For FY 2024-25 onwards, the amount under section 192(2B) is mandatory to be reported in the 24Q return.

You have missed entering this amount in the relevant field, hence the portal is throwing the error.

How to Fix:
Check if your employee(s) have received accumulated provident fund payments in FY 2024-25 (under section 192(2B)) and tax deducted accordingly.

Enter the amount of tax deducted under section 192(2B) in the respective field in Form 24Q. This is usually reported in Part C (Details of Tax Deducted and Deposited).

If no such payment occurred, enter zero (0) explicitly in the field instead of leaving it blank. Some systems require the field to be filled and don’t accept blanks.

Summary:
This field is mandatory from FY 2024-25.

Enter the amount deducted under Section 192(2B).

If none, enter 0.

Then proceed to file.
