It is bank number for online transfer of fund from one to another bank under RTGS. Bank will make record of their transaction under RTGS with specific number.

RTGS Number nothing but your bank IFSC Code printed in your cheque book

Any online transfer of funds is riuted via RTGS i.e. Real Time Gross Settlement. It is no. assigned to such transaction
