1) what is the % of each component as below wrt gross salary?
Basic
HRA
Conveyance
Children Education all
LTA
Medical reimbursement
Adhoc allowance/special allowance

2) Does CTC & Gross salary mean the same? is there any difference b/w the two??

11 July 2010 There is no specific % as far as the Gross salary is concerned. It all depends on the organisation & its Company Policy

Also there is a difference in CTC. One beng that the Employers Part of PF payment is not part of Gross salary but it is a part of CTC
