can anyone tell me that my servuce tax for the month of fev"2011.
is 500 excees paid . now plz tell me how can i adjust it

10 March 2011 Dear Rajeev,
You have not stated the reason of excess deposit. If it is because of the fact that services were never provided to the client, then you can adjest the same in the month of March. Otherwise also you can adjust the same against the march liability of service tax under Rule 6(4) of Service tax Rules 1994. However you have to intimate the department regarding such adjustment.
