I Have Two Medical Insurance Policy .
1. United India Insurance Rs. 125000
2. Bajaj Aliance Rs. 50000

Can I Claim At The Same Time Two Medical Insurance Policy In a hospital Under Same illness.

If The My Policy Is cash Less Policy.

SIR I AM NOT TAKING ABOUT 80 D.

07 August 2012 You can claim as many policies as you want. However, the total benefit shall be restricted to Rs. 15,000.

Deduction on Medical insurance premium paid for himself,spouse,dependent children =Rs 15000 maximum.
Deduction on Medical insurance premium paid for parents ,whether dependent on assesee or not =Rs 15000 maximum

there is no matter how many policies you have its subject to maximum limit.

07 August 2012 However in case you are senior citizen (ie more than 65 age) you would be eligible to claim Rs 20,000 and in case your parents are senior citizen u will be eiligible for another 20,000
