03 January 2016 Hi,

I own a house in Hyderabad in which my parents are staying and I am staying in a rented house in same city.
I am claiming HRA for the rent paid by me.

Property tax paid on my own house is 2675 per annum. How to calculate the fair rent value for the house where my parents are staying? Please suggest.

03 January 2016 if the house in which your parents are living is the only owned house you have in India, then there is no need to show it as deemed let out. it will be treated as lelf occupied only.
