carry forward of group 1 marks to group 2 in icwa

hi sir/madam. can group 1 marks of icwa inter be carry forward to group 2 under the new syllabus 2012? suppose if a student gets 220 in group 1 and 180 in group 2, will he be declared pass? or whether marks for each group will be reckoned separately?

group set of is allowed if u give all the group together in one attempt in all three courses CA,CS,CMA
