21 December 2011 I am salary person. F.Y. 2007-08 my employer deducted TDS on salary as per Form 16 Rs, 83,927/- and same amount reflected in 26AS.
But CPC Bangalore a notice issue "communication on Arrear Demand " on 04.11.2011 Rs. 42,500/-. Please tell me how can I solve this problem.

21 December 2011 CPC has wasted a lot of money, time and energy, without properly checking the details in Form No 26AS. It was supposed to wait a reasonable period till e-tds returns are filed. However, this is a general problem. You may file a rectification request now. You can upload the XML file by entering into My Account > Rectification at income tax e-filing site.
