Quick Summary

Listed companies on the NSE and BSE are now required to submit certain corporate announcements in XBRL format, effective from April 1, 2023. This includes disclosures under Regulation 30 of SEBI LODR, such as share issuances, agreements, fraud/defaults, and notices of shareholder meetings. While PDF filings will initially be accepted, XBRL submissions must follow within 24 hours, with a future shift to XBRL-only submissions planned.
