Wrongly payment in some other ecc code

18 June 2013 We have wrongly paid excise duty in some other ECC code. We had made certain compliances for the same at the time of wrong payment but now after one year they have issued a SCN for default in duty payment. Further ECC on which we have made payment is surrendered 6 years back and we have documents for the same. wht to do now? and can i have any case laws reference for the same?
