Wrong tds credit in intimation

10 September 2014 A case recently arrived at my office. A person's tds credit for ay 2010-11 in form 26AS shows rs. 65550 and this matches with his form 16A also and he claimed this in his return for the said AY. However the intimation he was served upon with shows a tds credit of rs. 61095/- only. I have seen many cases where tds mismatches because form 16A shows more tds than Form 26AS and there are obvious reasons behind that.
However this is totally different case for me and I am completely unaware regarding the course of action to be taken.

10 September 2014 Assessee can not be denied for TDS mismatch in 26AS according to below case law . Please vide case law and also the mentioned link .
