Wrong name entered in CSR-1 of a Society

My partner have recently filed Form CSR-1 for registration of society registered under UP Society Act for CSR activities. A clerical mistake was incurred by an article while inputting name of society and errorneously there happens to be an ommission in the full name of society. Above all after filing certificate is also generated with that incorrect name on auto approval basis. Now how can this mistake be rectified or if any learned professional can undertake this issue to get it correct anyhow. Kindly provide your valuable advice and support regarding it.
Note: A CS have also tried filing Form GNL-1 but it is not taking in it also.

Problem:
Society registered under UP Society Act.

CSR-1 filed with incorrect name due to clerical error.

Certificate issued with wrong name.

Form GNL-1 for correction not being accepted.

Solution Steps:
Check UP Society Registration Rules/Guidelines:

Usually, society registrations are governed by the respective State Society Registration Act (here UP Society Act).

Correction of registered name generally requires filing an application for amendment with the Registrar of Societies.

File an Application for Amendment with Registrar:

Draft a formal letter/application on the society’s letterhead explaining the clerical error.

Attach the original registration certificate and the correct name.

Request Registrar for correction/amendment in the registered name.

Pay any applicable fees.

Supporting Documents:

Affidavit explaining the mistake and request for correction.

Minutes of General Body/Board meeting approving the name correction (if required).

Contact UP Society Registrar Office:

You or your client can visit the office physically or contact them via email/phone for the exact procedure.

Sometimes, the Registrar may allow correction on submission of an affidavit and application.

Regarding CSR-1 & Form GNL-1:

CSR-1 is filed on the MCA portal for Companies and Societies for CSR compliance.

Since Form GNL-1 is not accepting the correction, directly approach the Registrar of Societies in UP for correction at the source level.

After correction at Registrar’s end, file necessary updates on MCA portal, if applicable.
