12 November 2017 I have written my exam with blue pen ca ipc in nov 2017
Will that answersheet be evaluated?

12 November 2017 No need to worry.Many other students made same mistake. Icai will condone this mistake as it is for first time.

13 November 2017 Dear no need to worry First read the below text given by ICAI e) Candidates should write the answers only in black ink and in no other colour. Though there is no specific prohibition against the use of Gel pen / Fountain pen, it will be advisable to use ball point pen only since its ink is indelible. Candidates are also advised not to use red, green ink, highlighter, sketch pen etc. for underlining or highlighting any sentence/Para/phrase as it amounts to making distinguishing mark which is prohibited as stated in Para 17 below. Candidates are permitted to use pencils for drawing graphs, diagrams etc. However, Candidates should take care not to use pencil for writing answers From above if you observed BLACK pen is ADVISABLE but NOT MANDATORY

13 November 2017 Hi... Don't worry. It's advisable to read the exam instructions before writing the exam. In May 2017 it was mentioned to write in blue or black pen while in Nov 2017 it was clearly mentioned to write in Black pen.. ICAI has the power and authority to take the appropriate steps. However we can hope that they will consider your answer sheets for evaluation. So no worries. From next exam - please read the exam instruction carefully. All the best for result
