19 January 2013 I am holding COP and joined a CA Firm.Now i want to show to institute that i am working with this CA Firm so that the firm gets benefit.
Please tell me which form to fill to institute.

21 January 2013 If you're working as a partner then submit a partnership deed to the institute that shows that you are a partner in the firm so that they can update the details accordingly.

26 July 2013 The following are the situtation for your working
1) As a Partner - Submit the deed of partnership fill up form No. 18

2) wORKING AS AN EMPLOYEE - Intimation by the partner for your working as an employee

3) WORKING AS AN CONSULTANT - No need for any information to ICAI as you are submitting bills on work to work basis or retainer-ship basis

If you are a partner then your salary and share of profit to be fixed and the firm shall get deduction for the salary.

In case of an employee full salary is deducted in the hands of the firm but you cannot claim in expenses and full TDS is to be deducted.

In case of consultant then out of the fee received you can claim expenses and your TDS shall be only 10% but if your total bill value exceeds 10 L then ST registration is required.
